It’s almost that time again…

Volunteers’ Week, a national week of recognition for volunteers, gives us the amazing opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone who volunteers their time and expertise with us on a weekly basis, tutoring students across the capital and in the West Midlands too.

We truly have some super tutors.

For example, did you know we have four tutors who have each given over 100 hours of their time to support a student through The Access Project? And also, we have 15 tutors who are tutoring more than one student at a time this academic year! Impressive stuff which we think deserves a huge thank you.

Over the course of the coming 12 days from 1st – 12th June (NCVO have extended Volunteers’ Week this year to span 12 days instead of seven, allowing us to spread a bit more love) we will be recognising and thanking some of our Top Tutors and sharing the reasons which make them deserving of this accolade.

Make sure you check our Twitter feed, LinkedIn page and our ‘Wall of Thanks’ on our blog (links below) over the next two weeks to read the inspiring stories and messages of thanks for our super volunteers, written by the students and The Access Project programme team, and learn more about the impact our tutors are having on our mission to make access to the most selective universities fairer for the millions of children from low-income families in England today.
