“I would recommend businesses get involved with The Access Project both financially and in providing volunteer tutors, to support a charity that delivers tangible results towards tackling inequality and expanding opportunity.” Suneil Setiya, Co-founder, Quadrature Capital

We know that interventions, such as personalised tuition, is a vital step to help remove barriers that have typically stopped bright, young students from low socio-economic backgrounds achieve good grades and have ambitions to pursue the careers they want. There is a huge array of talent out there and it’s important that we invest in the next generation.

Become a corporate partner

Our corporate partners bring essential investment and expertise to our work, whether it’s through a partnership with a local school, funding a strategic project, promoting volunteering or pro bono support.

By setting up a volunteer scheme your employees get the opportunity to tutor a young person and develop their skills in communication, coaching and planning. In our most recent tutor survey 85% said the experience improved their communication skills. We provide all the training and support to make this a truly rewarding and meaningful volunteer experience.

Philanthropy

We are a growing charity with a big impact on young futures. By donating to The Access Project you are breaking down the barriers to better education for disadvantaged young people. Our programme of mentoring and tuition is proven to increase self-belief and improve grades: UCAS found our students were almost twice as likely to go to top universities than their peers.

We partner with individual donors, trusts and foundations so we can give more young people an opportunity to grow their talent. Get in touch today to help unlock their potential.

University partners

Our impact data, verified by UCAS, shows that 93% of our students applied to a top university, versus 58% of young people from similar backgrounds who we do not support.

By partnering with us you can support students from disadvantaged backgrounds to raise their attainment and ability to apply. You can also inspire talented young minds by giving your graduates, staff and alumni the chance to gain key skills whilst contributing to your widening participation aims, as tutors on our respected programme.

Featured partner: Keble College, Oxford University

Thanks to our partnership, disadvantaged young people from the West Midlands can receive The Access Project’s support, including tuition and guidance from Oxford graduates and academics. Their involvement, as part of our four-year programme, has given bright students the confidence and skills to apply, pass interviews, prepare for admissions tests and then win places at Oxbridge and other top universities.
