Tim Seymour at the Jackson Foundation

The Jackson Foundation is a grant-giving charitable body whose mission is to help the disadvantaged through education; they have donated significant funding to The Access Project. Tim Seymour, a former merchant banker who now runs a consultancy firm, is one of their trustees.

Tim explains that the Jackson Foundation were first introduced to The Access Project through personal connections, and they were immediately impressed with the clarity of Alex’s ideas for improving university access. This being a high priority for the Jackson Foundation’s mission, they were happy to support TAP’s work by awarding a grant. Tim says:

“Alex is clearly very able and energetic and we place a large premium on the ability and commitment of the person/people running the charities we support. Alex and TAP therefore ticked all the boxes.”

Tim also praises Alex’s plan for expansion into new schools, and his leadership qualities. He comments:

“Alex is able to attract good people to work with him and is very good at providing his financial partners/backers with relevant and regular feedback.”
