Mahamed, The Access Project alumnus
We arrange trips to universities, guest speakers, and run information sessions for students and parents. Young people don't lack aspiration - they just need to be equipped with the right skills and information.
We work with students from year 10 onwards to help them make informed decisions about university. The support we provide includes help choosing GCSE and A-level subjects, and picking the right university and degree for them.
We are experts in supporting students and teachers through all aspects of the UCAS process. Our in-school staff mentor students to choose the right courses and universities for them, run personal statement clinics and practice interviews in partnership with OxFizz, as well as workshops for staff to help them write effective references.
In addition, we provide three extra-curricular societies for sixth form students, bringing together students from across our schools who are interested in applying to Oxbridge, Medicine, Dentistry and Law, to offer the extra support needed for a successful application to these exceptionally competitive courses or institutions.
