Our supporters

Companies

Our corporate sponsors provide the running costs for a specific school and source the majority of our tutors.

Our corporate partners provide volunteers to act as tutors and to run UCAS & Careers Support workshops. They also take on Access Project students for work experience and internships.

Universities

We work in partnership with universities wherever possible, collaborating with institutions on a variety of activities. These might include undergraduates acting as tutors or giving talks or workshops in school, or the university organising trips and summer schools for Access Project students. Our university partners include the Royal Veterinary College, London, and we have also worked with Corpus Christi College, University of Cambridge.

Not-for-profits

We work with a range of other not-for-profit organisations. Sometimes this will be a long-standing arrangement: Debate Mate and First Story run debating and creative writing workshops on a weekly basis throughout the school term. On other occasions this will be a one-off: for example, Headliners ran a 3-day journalism workshop over the recent school holidays.

Grant giving trusts

Much of the funding needed to allow The Access Project to function comes from grant giving trusts, such as the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, the Bulldog Trust and the Jackson Foundation.
