Leading The Access Project’s volunteer recruitment work, I really enjoy taking our mission and message out to new audiences.
The work the recruitment team does is often the first time that someone will come across The Access Project’s programme and the impact we demonstrate. Helping someone see themselves as part of our project, and understand that they can make a significant positive difference with one of our young people, is something I really love and find incredibly rewarding.
Harry, Head of Volunteer Recruitment
Why work here

People who work at The Access Project are motivated by wanting to create a fairer society. We value every individual who works here. We all play an active part in achieving the mission to help students from disadvantaged backgrounds to access top universities.
At The Access Project, we’re collaborative, supportive and inclusive. We regularly have opportunities for people to share their ideas in various working groups, generating strong teamwork across the organisation. In our last staff engagement survey, 90% said they’re proud to tell people where they work.
Our people strategy vision is to enable and inspire all employees to achieve, grow, succeed and thrive. We have a wide range of benefits that make The Access Project a rewarding place to work. We are a Living Wage Employer because we believe that our colleagues deserve a wage which meets everyday needs, and we offer a London Weighting Allowance for roles based in London.
