Rob Leigh, from Frazer Nash consultancy, has been tutoring with The Access Project since November 2014, since then he has worked with three different students from Holte School, supporting them in the run up to their Maths GCSE.

Rob was nominated by Holte School’s programme coordinator George. She said: “Rob is a fantastic tutor and his commitment and consistency when organising and delivering tutorials to students absolutely has to be commended.

“Rob travels a 40-minute journey into Birmingham every week to deliver these tutorials but never lets this put him off. He always goes above and beyond, something which is evident through him taking on an additional student for a few extra revision sessions before the December mock exams and then continuing to tutor her for the rest of the academic year.

“Both myself and students are incredibly grateful for his hard work and determination in helping young people succeed.”

George nominated Rob as her top tutor as his commitment to The Access Project is outstanding, not just in tutoring a young person, but in attending all the tutor meet ups, in fundraising for The Access Project (running the Birmingham half marathon!) and in getting his colleagues to all sign up as tutors.

Rob you really are a top tutor!
