Welcome to our new look! Today we are excited to announce the launch of both our refreshed brand and our new website – we hope you like them as much as we do.

Our new brand is the end result of wide-ranging consultations both internally and with our fantastic community of partner schools, businesses, funders and tutors. These were fascinating and informative conversations that allowed us to really drill down into the core ideas that drive our work.

At the heart of it all was a powerful and inspiring message about the young people we work with, who are, in short: Bright young minds on a mission.

We are proud to say this “brand essence” – apologies for the marketing speak – drives everything we do and we believe it also underpins our new look.

Our motivation for the brand refresh was to ensure we engage as effectively as possible with our community of partners and supporters and crucially to attract more people and organisations to get involved in our work.

Our core focus is always on improving outcomes for the young people we support — our behind-the-scenes dedication to rigorous measurement of the impact of our programme remains the same. We’re proud that The Access Project is validated at Level 3 on Nesta’s Standards of Evidence and that external evaluation shows our students are more than twice as likely to progress to a top university than students from similar backgrounds. But now we have style and substance.

From humble beginnings in one north London school ten years ago, we have been determined to reach as many students as possible and have grown quickly and are now working in 28 schools, with over 1,000 tutors supporting 1,250 students across London and the Midlands.

But now, as we mark the ten-year anniversary of The Access Project, we’re setting our sights even higher: We believe this is the perfect moment to launch our newly refreshed brand, messaging and new website, in order to help us achieve our ambition to take our impact nationwide.
