The volunteer team at The Access Project

Volunteering is fundamental to The Access Project’s work. The tuition sessions provided by our volunteers are key to the impact we have on our students’ outcomes. The volunteering function is responsible for recruiting and training volunteers and supporting them by providing the high-quality tools and resources they need to become impactful tutors.

About the role

This is a varied role which manages all stages of the volunteer journey from application to matching with a student. You will be instrumental in helping the small but busy team reach its targets for onboarded tutors and in ensuring that volunteers on the programme have a positive and rewarding experience.

For this role you will need meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisation, communication and presentation skills. Experience of working with CRM systems is highly desirable but not essential as training will be given.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and will expect you to share this commitment.

Please see our online application portal for a full job description, person specification and further information about our charity’s fantastic work and team.
