Partner with us

Students from disadvantaged backgrounds are five times less likely to attend a top university, which in turn has a negative impact on their future prospects.

Partner with The Access Project today and your business will inspire the next generation of talent to unlock their potential to achieve the fairer society of tomorrow.

Our corporate partners

Our corporate partners bring essential investment and expertise to our work, whether it’s through a partnership with a local school, funding a strategic project, promoting volunteering or pro bono support.

We have worked with The Access Project for over 10 years, which is a testament to the impact they make, their innovative approach and their ability to build effective partnerships. We’re proud to have supported and watched the charity grow.

John Nevin, Partner at Slaughter and May and Chair of the Community and Pro bono Committee.

About our corporate partnerships

We work closely with a wide range of corporate partners who share our commitment to educational equality and social mobility. By taking a flexible approach, we will work with your organisation to create a bespoke partnership which meets the needs of our students, your business and your employees.

Below are just some of the ways that your business can get involved in our work as a partner:

  • Provide volunteer tutors – we will recruit and train employees from your organisation to become volunteer tutors providing one to one tuition to the students on our programmes.
  • Run events for our students – we will work with your organisation to run enrichment events for our students to prepare them for the world of work.
  • Fundraise for us – your employees can get involved in challenge events and run internal staff events to raise awareness and vital funds for The Access Project.

If you are interested in learning more about becoming a corporate partner, please get in touch. We would love to hear from you.

I really enjoy tutoring for The Access Project. It’s a time each week that is completely different from my usual workday and something I look forward to. It’s great that volunteering initiatives such as tutoring are actively encouraged by my employer – it shows that they are interested in how they can both grow their staff and use their time and skills to help others. Tutoring is a hugely rewarding experience and one I would recommend to others.

Why partner with us?

By ensuring that our shared goals are at the front and centre of our work, our partnerships support organisations to meet their individual objectives whilst making a tangible impact.

Partner with us and your organisation will gain the following benefits:

Deliver a real social impact

Our programmes are proven to make a difference. Students taking part in our programmes are twice as likely to attend university. By partnering with us you will help us to expand our much needed work to new regions that have been identified as social mobility cold spots. By 2026 we want to work with over 500 additional students and need the support of corporate partners to make this a reality

Engage and inspire employees

Meeting our students and supporting them through volunteering brings the work of The Access Project to life. We provide all employees from our corporate partners with the chance to volunteer with our young people through activities such as volunteer tutoring, Q&A sessions and school visits. As a result 90% of our volunteers working with The Access Project state that it allows them to give something back

Inspire students from a diverse background

We work with the most disadvantaged students across England. 75% of the students that we work with are from ethnic minority backgrounds. Partnering with The Access Project gives you access to this talent pipeline, strengthening your future workforce

Being on our programme doubles a student’s chances of securing a place at a top university

It was amazing that someone so senior at Rothschild took time out to help me with my Maths studies. I have gained an understanding of the working world, and how, if I work hard, I too can be successful like my tutors.
