Giving Tuesday is right around the corner. And to celebrate the biggest fundraising day of the year, we’re shouting out one of our generous corporate partners, who took part in an epic trek earlier this year to help raise money for The Access Project.

Seer 365 develops technology solutions that help Microsoft business software (specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365) implementation partners and their customers to be more efficient and productive. Seer 365 partnered with The Access Project in April 2022, joining our community of partners who help make our mission a reality.

In September 2023, a team of four men and two women from Seer 365 took part in a sponsored hike along the Jurassic Coast. The 27-mile hike from Lulworth Cove to Weymouth is a popular challenge for nature-lovers and fundraisers alike.

Adam Palmer, Marketing Director at Seer 365, was amongst the team of six trekking the coast.

Adam said: “We partnered with The Access Project because they are a charity that focuses on upskilling and driving better performance, which aligns closely with our ideals. At Seer 365, we firmly believe that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to be successful.”

“Our team takes part in sponsored activities on average once per year. We have other activities during the year at summer events and Christmas parties where we encourage charitable donations.”

The team faced ups and downs on their trek, but pushed through knowing their efforts would help a great cause.

Adam said: “The most challenging parts were the first three to four miles, lots of uphill walks and getting into our rhythm. The last three to four miles were tough as well, as we were all knackered!”

The Seer 365 team’s trek raised £855 for The Access Project. The company will match this donation at the end of the year, totalling a whopping £1,710 towards our programme.

Adam added: “We know the funds we raise will do good things.”

The Access Project combats educational inequality through widening participation programmes, offering tutoring, mentoring and enrichment opportunities. We empower under-resourced young people to realise their full potential.

Around 25% of our programme is paid for by schools. The rest is funded by university partners, corporate sponsorships, and donations from people like you.

Your donation to The Access Project will give young people the chance to thrive.
