Attention students! Looking for a rewarding volunteering opportunity that fits in with your university studies? Look no further.

The Access Project is recruiting student volunteers to tutor GCSE and A level students this academic year. By giving just one hour a week, you’ll help a young person raise their grades and boost their chances of placing at a top UK university.

You don’t need any tutoring experience to apply. We’ll give you all the training and guidance you need to get the most out of tutorials.

How do I volunteer with The Access Project?

Volunteer tutoring is a great way to grow your skills and enhance your CV.

The Access Project volunteer tutors give one hour of tuition per week in a subject of their choice to an A level or GCSE student. We’re currently recruiting student volunteer tutors the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, English, French, Geography, History, Maths, Physics, Spanish, Economics, Politics and Psychology.

We work with more than 1,000 students in 35 schools across the UK. All tuition is online, so our tutors can be based anywhere in the UK.

The Access Project combats educational inequality through widening participation programmes, offering tutoring, mentoring and enrichment opportunities. We empower disadvantaged young people to realise their full potential.

By giving just one hour per week, you can inspire the next generation and be part of a young person’s journey.
