Ali Rowe has been nominated as a Top Tutor by her student Malachi of City Academy, Hackney. Ali and Malachi have had 19 hours of tutorials in maths (with the occasional Physics tutorial thrown in, too)!

When nominating Ali, Malachi said: “My tutor has, amazingly, tutored me in two subjects and has made learning fun!”

Programme Coordinator Sara added: “Ali and Malachi have made a tutorial schedule together so that they both know in advance what they will be studying each week. Ali has even been helping Malachi with some Physics revision in the run up to his exam.”

And when we told Ali she had been nominated, she told us: “I’ve found tutoring with The Access Project really rewarding. It’s been great playing a small part in helping Malachi work towards a place at uni and his future. Not to mention it’s been useful to me to brush up on some long-forgotten maths skills!”

Thank you Ali for all your support!

We would also like to thank all the other tutors at KPMG and City of London who support students at City Academy, Hackney. This academic year, a total of 64 tutors across both organisations have provided over 740 hours of tutorials to our students!

An amazing achievement! Thank you to all of you.
